My stay at the Angkor Rural Boutique Resort was simply good. The warm hospitality from Sokun, Kunthy, and Sophika truly made me feel like I was at home rather than at a resort. The setting, just outside the city's hustle and bustle, provided amazing rural sunset views. However, if you’re looking for a large traditional resort experience, this might not be the right fit for you.

I booked the Green Rice Family Suite for my family. it was spacious enough for us to spread out comfortably. The room had all the modern conveniences I could ask for and even featured an outdoor bath which added a lovely touch.

The service was great. Sokun even took time to teach my children how to make bracelets from soda pull tabs. The staff were always friendly and went out of their way to help, including arranging transportation for us.

Located behind open fields, it was so peaceful. yet conveniently close to the city center and Angkor temple sites. I appreciated the resort's free shuttle service to the city, although I found the resort so pleasant, I didn’t feel the need to leave much.
